Choose a table that suits your limits and playing style
Baccarat is one of the longest-standing and most widely played casino games in the world, including here in Malaysia. If you've ever been to Genting Highlands or any licensed casino, you'd know the baccarat tables are almost always packed. Now, with SCR99, you can enjoy the same experience – or even better – directly from your smartphone or computer.
The appeal of baccarat lies in its simplicity. Unlike poker, which demands a high level of skill and complex strategy, baccarat involves just three betting options: Player, Banker, or Tie. There's no need to memorise dozens of rules or make complicated decisions. The dealer handles all card movements according to fixed rules, and all you need to do is predict which side will win with a total card value closest to 9.
This is what makes baccarat a favourite among Malaysian casino players at SCR99 – it's easy to understand, fast to play, and offers one of the highest payout rates of any casino game, with an RTP of up to 98.94% on the Banker bet. Very few casino games deliver this kind of value to players.
Before you start playing at the baccarat table SCR99, it helps to understand a few basic rules so you can play with more confidence and enjoyment. Don't worry – baccarat rules are far simpler than you might think.
The main objective of baccarat is to predict whether the Player hand or the Banker hand will have a total card value closest to 9. Each round begins with two cards dealt to each side. Card values in baccarat differ slightly from standard card games – numbered cards 2 through 9 carry their face value, 10s, Jacks, Queens, and Kings are worth 0, and Aces are worth 1.
If the total value of the cards exceeds 9, the first digit is dropped. For example, if you draw a 7 and an 8, the total is 15 – but in baccarat, only the second digit counts, which is 5. The third-card rule determines whether the Player or Banker receives an additional card, and this is handled automatically by the dealer on the platform SCR99 – you don't need to make this decision yourself.
What sets the baccarat experience at SCR99 from other platforms is the quality of our live streaming. Every baccarat table at SCR99 is broadcast in full HD with multiple camera angles, capturing every dealer movement and every card reveal with complete clarity.
Our dealers are trained professionals fluent in both Malay and English. They do more than deal cards – they create a lively social atmosphere through live chat. You can type a message in the chat box and the dealer will respond, making each session feel friendlier and more interactive.
Furthermore, SCR99 displays a road map for each baccarat table. This helps players who like to analyze result patterns before placing their bets. While baccarat is a game of chance and no pattern can be scientifically predicted, many players find the road map useful for making betting decisions with greater confidence based on recent round history.
The baccarat platform SCR99 is also optimised for smartphones. You can play in portrait or landscape mode, betting buttons are sized for touchscreens, and the connection is optimised for Malaysia's 4G networks. The mobile playing experience is nearly identical to the desktop version.

Many Malaysian players familiar with baccarat at physical casinos often ask – what's the difference when playing at SCR99? Honestly, there are plenty of advantages to playing online that you may not have considered.
First, table limits. At physical casinos, the minimum bet at a baccarat table is typically high and not everyone can afford a seat. At SCR99, table limits start from just RM5, allowing players from all walks of life to enjoy baccarat without significant financial pressure.
Second, convenience. You can play in your shorts from your bedroom without dressing up, paying for parking, or queuing for an empty table. At SCR99, there are 14 baccarat tables accessible at any time, and if one table is full, an alternative is available immediately.
Third, payout rates. Online baccarat at SCR99 offers higher RTP than most land-based casinos in Malaysia due to lower operating overhead, meaning more money is returned to players over the long run.
While baccarat is an exciting game, SCR99 always puts player wellbeing above everything else. We believe gambling should be a controlled form of entertainment, not a source of problems.
Platform SCR99 provides a range of tools to help players stay in control. You can set daily or weekly deposit limits directly from your account dashboard. If you feel that your gaming activity is starting to affect your daily life, don't hesitate to use the self-exclusion feature available at SCR99. Your account can be suspended for 24 hours, one week, or longer depending on your needs. The support team at SCR99 is also available to listen and assist players who need support related to responsible gaming.
Remember: baccarat is meant to be enjoyable, not stressful. Play with a clear head, a set budget, and the mindset that losing is part of the game.
